The amazing employees of this store helped my lineman get his prescription while working on restoring power. They were not only willing to call his out of state pharmacy but also deliver it to him. They were all so kind and helpful!

They have great service, a staff that is both incredibly helpful and polite. I have been going there since Mr. Picou owned the store and Mrs. Susan is equally as wonderful. Their prices are great and the candy they sell reminds me of when I was a kid. Better than the chains and the prices are great too.

Not only does People's Drug Store have excellent pharmacists and staff, but they also have a wonderful store with lots of everyday products at reasonable prices. I also like to support businesses that support our local community, and People's Drug Store has invested back into our community more than any other pharmacy...and more than most other businesses!

After bad experiences with larger chain pharmacies, I decided to try this cute little pharmacy I'd seen in downtown Houma. I called and spoke to a human being on the second ring instead of waiting 30 minutes listening to automated ads. The staff was so friendly and helpful; they even called my doctor and pharmacy to quickly transfer my medicine and I had it within 2 hours, whereas I had been without it several days due to clerical or other errors at Walgreens. Beyond the caring staff, the inside of People's is quaint and adorable with local art, easy to find product placement, and lots of old fashioned candy and snacks. Their website is modern and user-friendly and they even offer some specialty services and community support. Thank you for being fantastic, People's; you made my day.
